I'v just got straight through on 01506 421 702. Didn't even have to wait in a queue. They are very persistent by the way and will try and keep you on. One bit of advice - rather than cancel completely right away, they tried to convince me to drop down to the basic package (about £22) from my full £45 package saying that I could then cancel and it would save me £23. I thought about it and then decided it wasn't worth the risk of forgetting so I cancelled anyway. When they then worked out the figures, my billing date is the 28th and since I've cancelled today I will only have to pay for the first 14 days of the next billing period (about £20 pro-rata). The basic package would also be charged pro-rata at about £10 so I would only have saved £10 rather than £23 - even more of a reason to just bite the bullet and cancel rather than risk forgetting.

Just come across this site and I'm well impressed Smiley

Phoned Sky about 10 mins ago on the 01506 4217 702 number mentioned in the last post, but it was completelly dead.

Tried the 01506 421813 number mentioned a post or two earlier and got through straight away Cool

(Looking at the numbers again, I think the first one may have a '7' to many in it!)

Yes, the first number has too many 7s in it - probably the reason it didn't work. I think it is meant to be 01506 421 702.

Hi, I've just tried ringing 01506 421813 and, although I heard the line transfer, I went through to technical support; the lady was very nice but she transferred me through to the correct department.

Out of interest, if this happens and they transfer me to the correct number (maybe an 0870 number) will I be charged a higher rate even though I initially called on 01506 421813 and have no idea which number I'm being transferred to?!

Thanks.

Hi all
I have just tried the 01506 421702 number and got through straight away, however I want to query the missing £50 vouchers they promised me for introducing a friend.

I 'm not sure where I was connected to but the guy couldn't or wouldn't transfer me, and said I had to dial 0870 2412939 so does anyone know another number for that ?

thanks
tc

Hi.

Just tried 01506 421813 and got hrough straight away. They forwaded me to another department but I was on hold for 7 minutes so I decided to leave it. I rang the number back again and got a different person, this time they refused to forward me and gave me an 0870 number to call.

What I was actually trying to do was unlock my Sky Anytime on PC because I reinstalled windows and now it says "It appears that you are logging in from  different PC. Only one PC can use Sky Anytime. For assistance, plese call customer services on 0870 609 4508 and quote the error code. [code - 17]"

Any ideas about a geographical version of this number?

I also had the same problem as TC when using 01506 421702.
Thanks in advance,
Mathew.

Dave went through a number of Sky service numbers a while back - see here for the list. One of those is Sky technical services with an option for broadband. They might be able to help you, or transfer you to Sky Anytime. Another option is for Sky Anytime on Mobile - again, they might be able to help or transfer you.

Please report back how you get on.

Just been trying to get through to a non-lemon at Sky with much frustration. The 01506 421813 number now plays a message saying 'this service is no longer available', and every other number that I tried took me eventually to an obviously overseas centre where all I got from 5 operators was 'our systems are down, please call back in 10 mins/30 mins/later tonight/tomorrow'.

Success however, with 01506 421884 which takes you to a UK centre where although I was transferred, I didn't have to wait and my query was dealt with immediately. Many thanks to Dave Cheesy

Thanks a lot jgxenite. I phoned the "Anytime by mobile" number as you said (01506421895) and although the opening message said that I was through to Anytime by mobile, I didn't push the star button as requested and I was put straight through to the general Sky Anytime office and was answeredby a Scottsh man. Perfect. Probably a good idea to add this number to the database.

Sky Anytime Customer Services 0870 609 4508
Ring 01506 421895 and don't push the star buttons when asked. It will ask you twice and then put you through. Phone call finished in under 3 minutes and I coul log in to Sky Anytime again instantly.

Thanks again.
Mat

Mat, your feedback is much appreciated. The Sky numbers tend to change quite often, so we use this thread to keep track of them instead of using the general database.

List of currently working Sky numbers:

Customer Services - 01506 421 884, 01506 421 702
Sky Anytime - 01506 421 895 (ignore "star" prompts)

No longer working numbers:

01506 421 813

NOTE: While this number was not working at the time posted, it may become available later as Sky has "recycled" some of their older numbers before.

SKY DIGITAL (BSkyB) Customer Service

After trawling the net for days trying to find an alternative number to Sky Customer Service instead of the massively published  0870-2404040 number, I contacted BSkyB switchboard and asked them for an alternative number, stating "My Telephone is blocked from 0870 numbers" I was finally transferred to customer relations.

I was given a 0844 number, it is still 4ppm but its' better than the 0870-2404040 costs of 8.5ppm.

So anyone else who is interested and wants to contact SKY cheaper than the 0870 number, the number given was 0844-7742008 I've just finished a call to them using that number, and it was fine, quite surprisingly answered MUCH faster than usual too.

I'm still going to work on Sky in trying to get a 01 or 02 number though. Smiley
