Maybe you should think about putting 141 before dialling the number. Yes you are right, there are two members of staff that I know of, who subscribe to this thread.
How does dialling 141 before the geographic Sky number help? Its surely the number one is dialling in on that alerts Sky staff to the fact that you have not called in on the officially authorised number and not the one you are calling from.
Or are you suggesting that Sky will claim you are in violation of their terms and conditions and impose a surcharge on your account if they can prove you did not call in on the officially blessed 0844 number?
And are you one of those two members of staff at Sky who are subscribed to this thread by the way.
By dialing 141 first, your number is withheld, Sky will not know what number you are calling from ( Ithink that there is a way for them (Sky) to block calls if they think you are using a geo number), olus many people have their number wittheld automatically. Reason being the amount of people who could get thgough, then suddenly unable to, but other people canget through.
No I am not one of those turncoats lol
