08442 410515 is the number the technical engineers keep giving me. Just tried 01506 831600 and after being cut off twice whilst being transfered, finally got through to the right department.

Thanks so much

I have an on going problem with Sky as they owe me money, I only have a mobile phone so this site has been very helpful BUT after getting through straight away on 01506831741 on three occasions recently I tried again on Friday 20th and Sky have now stopped all the numbers and you have to use the 0844 number. I did try most of the numbers on this web site but gave up. They still owe me money so how do you fight against this huge company without spending a fortune on phone calls Angry

Hi again, just tried the 01506831600 number and got through straight away! I'm still holding on waiting for the finance dept. Be warned though, Sky will get wind of this number and get it removed. Wink

Taking your two points in turn:-

1. 01506 831600 still works, although today it was going through to a lady at Sky in India.

2. If you want your problem properly investigated and resolved then dont't call Sky all but instead send an email with details of the problem and your customer account number and name and address to jeremy.darroch@bskyb.com and with cc to CRsupport@bskyb.com

01506 831002 is the new number to call. Of course it won't be long before Sky close that one down too as they seem to be getting faster. Shocked Angry Cry

And for the heartless bean counter at Sky subscribed to this thread why oh why can't you guys get the message that 40% of UK phone calls are now from mobiles (where 0871 numbers cost up to 50p per minute or £1 per minute from a BT Payphone) and that not everybody in the UK can be cajoled in to becoming a Sky Talk customer just to make the occasional customer service call to Sky. Also Sky allegedly offers an online enquiry form for customers with online accounts but then either takes days to respond to an enquiry via that route or ring back or else those online web queries are frequently simply completely ignored. Angry

So to the heartless blinkered money grinding b*a*s*t*a*r*d at Sky responsible for closing these numbers down, no doubt on the basis that it messes up the efficient operation of your call stats and efficient call handling in the call centre then why oh why don't you get an 03 prefixed phone number that will cost your customers no extra to call and that all of them will then be happy to call, be it from a landline, a mobile phone or a payphone.

If Sky continues to close these numbers down I will publish the email addresses of all senior Sky staff on this website for people unhappy with Sky's decision to complain to.

I will also make sure to send out a press release indicating that Sky wins the SayNoTo0870 wooden spoon award as the most deliberately anti customer call centre in the UK that has gone to the greatest lengths ever known to try and force its customers to make premium rate phone calls to conduct activities 99% of which could be conducted without any staff in a call centre at all through an online web portal.   Only if all account management facilities are provided to customers online will it possibly be justified to use a non standard rate call number to telephone Sky.

I see that Dave has already updated the verified listings for Sky on this site to make 01506 831002 the new verified number to call. Smiley
