The 0800 0468857 worked for me @ 13.34.
The 0800 number says it is "currently closed" at 10.09pm tonight. Do we know what the expected opening hours are for this number?
I could not get any geographic number to work tonight so I would suggest anyone who has a problem that they need fixing by Sky now instead emails jeremy.darroch@bskyb.com (their CEO) with cc to crsupport@bskyb.com I would list amongst the issues you have with Sky being forced to email them because calling Sky is now unaffordable to call for those not on Sky Talk. Also if you live on a non LLU exchange not served by Sky for cheap broadband indicate that you have no interest at all in joining Sky for calls and broadband at the present time because their £17 per month Sky Connect broadband on these exchanges is very poor value for money.
I am forced to telephone these lieing, cheating people because despite the Sky Pay Once Watch Forever website clearly saying for a long period in their Terms & Conditions that viewing cards would be replaced free of charge for 5 years from purchase if required on their replacement viewing card website at
https://mysky.sky.com/replacecard/home it now says "old cards for Freesat customers will be inactive after 30th September" (at which point you will lose Five, Fiver, FiveUSA, Sky3 and SetantaSportsNews unless you get a new card) but it also says "If you bought a Sky box or viewing card only from Freesat from Sky after 1st May 2006 then you are eligible for a free card" (note this is still shorter than the promised five years that would take us back to 1st October 2004 mentioned in the original Sky Pay Once Watch Forever Terms & Conditions). But when I tried to enter my mother's Sky Pay Once Watch Forever viewing card number from her November 2007 installed system Sky tried to demand £20 for a replacement card. So now I have to email jeremy.darroch@bskyb.com with cc to crsupport@bskyb.com in order to get this simple task accomplished.
Does anyone know of a more dishonest and devious organisation of this size in the UK apart from Sky. I suppose some of you will immediately mention TalkTalk...............
