I've found some old DVLA leaflets with geographical numbers on. I haven't tried them, but hopefully they still work.

The main telephone numbers for vehicles and drivers have been disconnected. Lips Sealed

However, Sandco has posted some contact details here for DVLA management.

There is a freephone number you can get the DVLA on. I've not tried it, so I don't know what types of enquiries it can be used for. It is 0800 3898787.

There is a short message on there so it won't cost them too much when people ring it!

You cannot get put straight through to an operator if you don't have (or don't indicate you have) a touch tone phone. You have to sit through all menu options and say a number after the beep.

The leaflet I have tells me I need to obtain a form from my local office. I've found a geo number for it, yes you guessed it, it's been disconnected. I rang my local office, went all the way through the menus only to be told I need to ring the 0870 for vehicles! Angry

The offices are open until 20:30, so it is worth waiting until the evening as it's cheaper.
