Hi my first posting

Does anyone have the alternative phone number for current account for Alliance & Leicester?
The one listed in my chequebook is 08459111111
I have tried the alternative free phone number give by this website 08000688688 but the chap says “enter the subscriber account number after the beep” I do have an account with A&L and have tried that but still cant get it to work

We have various entries in the database that you could try. The 0800 0688688 is for Card services, not Current accounts, hence your problems.

According to Alliance & Leicester website, 0845 9262626 and 0870 3333444 are the numbers you need to use. You could try

0113 2541566

which is for Current account Customer services. Grin

BTW, 0845 9111111 is for the branches - if you ring it you can get your local branch number. You're better off going to the website & using the Alliance & Leicester Branch locator. Most of the numbers I tried were Local Geographic numbers. Roll Eyes
