I just wanted to let you all know that the 01793 715727 and 01793 715 694 numbers are no longer putting through to tech help, as of this week, tried several times it,s now a no no, staff said their phone systems been changed and they can no longer put you through to tech help, as it,s now a seperate line, the 0871 number at 7 pence a minute. So any ideas re : alternative number now ?
We have yet to establish where technical support calls are answered. I can think of a number of possibilities:
1. They are answered at the Swindon office, in which case the staff can probably put calls through and the 01793 715xxx numbers may yield the answer.
2. They are answered at another UK office of Medion (if there is one) or at an outsourced provider elsewhere. In which case, we could do to find out the name (if it's an outsourced provider) and address.
3. They are answered at another of Medion's offices, perhaps in Germany (where the head office is based), so as to keep all support together.

From the verified entries, we know that 01793 715715 is the reception. I have changed the description of 715727 to "Customer services", with a note to say that it's not technical support.
715700 is the voicemailbox for Nick Shenton, Managing Director. Not sure if it's ever picked up or if it ever goes through to a member of staff rather than a machine.
If calls are answered abroad, then that may be the reason that quite a few 7156xx numbers have foreign ringing on them.
715629 says "Thank you for calling the Medion" (synthesised voice) and then says to select the appropriate option, but then goes to foreign ringing.
715630 also starts off "Thank you for calling the Medion" (synthesised voice), but requests a customer number followed by pound sign.
715673 goes straight to music.
The Medion Shop number, 0800 279 4145, is answered with foreign ringing when it's open. It has a UK alternative: 715634. The closed message on this line is the same synthesised female voice as with 629 and 630.
