is, but this was what I found about that number Undecided

General advice about State Pension or Widow’s benefits paid direct into a bank or building society account.

The only Geo number that refers to this was 0191 2030203, which if you ring now, tells you to call the 0845 number !! All of which is very nice but as much use as a chocolate fireguard !

If anyone else could find the general switchboard number of

I think I might be able to help you. I am currently going through all the known 0845 & 0870 numbers WE use, and finding their regional numbers.

For the Dept of W & P for DLA, (disabled living allowance) it is 0208 86526000 . It is my understanding they are all located together.

National Insurance & Income Tax is 0191 2255996

Yes, phoned them myself not 3 hours ago - 0191 213 5000.

They took longer than I expected to answer (it's a switchboard number from the SayNoTo0870 database) but, very politely and without argument, put me through when I asked for the 'Retirement Pension Forecasting Team'.

I am just about to enter the 0845 3000 168 number (from the letter I received from their Newcastle office) onto the database.

I have tried to find a number for pension forcasts (DWP) because the number registered on this site for 08453000168 does not let you speak to anyone concerning this matter only to refer you back to the 0845 number.
