Just a very big thank you to everyone who has helped me.
I eventually got through to falkirk and spoke to our case worker.
It took an hour and half but i did it.
Just hope other people can get through and it's quicker for them.

Previously, we found that CSA had published +44 1851 7680xx numbers for "overseas" calls and these were the ones that are now not recognised.

I understand that there have been some changes to the CSA over the last few months. The new contact page is here and there is one "Child Support Agency Helpline" which is 0845 713 3133. It doesn't give any overseas number.

However, other nearby numbers are still in service. Here is a list of the 01851 768xxx numbers I tried:

Those in italics were listed in the database (now removed). Based on what I've found, it might be worth trying 099 and/or 100. Failing that, try some others in that range.

Or maybe what works and what doesn't varies over time. For example, maybe those that are na do work successfully sometimes, or maybe they always answer with that message.

Whatever you do, please let us know what you try and how you get on with each, so any that do work can be listed. All feedback will help us to help others with the same query.

You should call the new 0300 or 0345 numbers listed on their official website.

These always cost the same as calling 01 and 02 numbers and count towards inclusive allowances on landlines and mobiles.
