Nationwide Building Society - Swansea

Only in the last 2 months have Swansea Nationwide Building Society changed to 0870

My local package allows local calls Free. I spoke with them 2 months ago, now they have a Voice Message telling me to dial the 0870 number.

This is Out of Order. We have no freedom of choice to use their Standard Dialing Code. They state on the message its been changed in order to provide better control of their calls. Surely this can be proven to be "misleading" and a downright lie. It could be done with their 01792 490300 number.

Technically NOT quite correct.

The number you gave first 01792 490300 is in fact the Swansea Mortgage Centre
, which is part of Nationwide BS but NOT necessarily located at the branch (according to the call centre).

However the Swansea call centre

01792 490100

will put you through to the

Mortgage Centre

or any Swansea Nationwide branch.

It stops hurting when I stop banging it against the wall !!
