I just called O2 customer services using the 01349 alternative number given here, and the woman answered the phone by saying hello you're through to O2, calls to this no are charged at 50p a min!  Is that right!  Or is she unaware of what no I dialled in on?  Thanks!

If you look though my previous postings, you should find where I explained that these numbers are in fact a service attached to the normal landline (Geographic) number. This means that if you call the
alternate
number from our listing, whoever answers has no idea that you are calling using a different one to the 0906, 0871, 0870 or 0845 number. When it is a recorded (automated) message, the same applies.

If they do bill you 50p/min for calling on
01349 885040
, talk to Daniel nicely and he might pay you back out of his pocket money. Lips Sealed

Seriously though, I know it doesn't charge 50p/min 'cos I checked the number myself before I confirmed it as OK.  Grin
