I understand that Finearea SA are the parent company for 1899, 18866, telestunt, telesaver, telediscount and heaven knows how many others.

They have constantly changing access numbers, tariffs double, get reduced - this gimmick - that gimmick - numbers engaged - never answer emails etc etc.

Well I for one have given up and I will probably spend 20p a week more than if I did an hours rersearch each morning.

A prediction -1899/18866 will have a large price hike soon!

It's possible, but people were saying that over a year ago when Call18866 first appeared, and their UK landline call prices have only gone down.

Hi Don't give up - I still use 1899 for mobiles, however, I did become a member of the Utility Warehouse Discount Club (along with friends & family that I call alot) because we can call each other for free, 24 hours a day and you can still use the dial up pre-fix numbers for mobiles or non-members.

I would rather go to the dentist weekly for an extraction without anaesthetic than join Telecom Plus.

Their modus operandi leaves much to be desired and it is about time they took notice of the judgements against them from the Advertising Standards Authority.

This disingenuous post, and the others you have posted on this site, is typical.

I take it you have cleared your 'advert 'with the owner of this site?
