Bump.

I looked at this thread about a year ago, but none of the suggestions worked for me.

However I have eventually found a non 0870 number for Clevelands Building, a Bath university hall of residence

Not much help, given that I move out in a couple of weeks, but hopefully it will help someone else.

My internal number was 71xy
The external number was 0870 753 72xy

My non 0870 number is 01225 4871xy

So I got the non 0870 number by dialling 01225 48 + my internal number

All I can say is that 01225 48 WXYZ is worth a try (where WXYZ is the internal number), along with 01225 37 WXYZ, which worked for somebody earlier in this thread, and 01225 38 WXYZ, which is the standard prefix for campus office numbers.
