18866/18899

I have only recently discovered 18866 and love the prices.  But today i found this board and want to ask a question that will raise older members eyebrows.....sorry!

I gather 18899 is the number to call instead of 18866 when dialling mobiles?  If you have already registered to 18866 can u just dial the prefix 18899 to get through or do you have to sign up to something else?

Thanks for your patience.

Hi,
I'm new too! & finding this lot very interesting.

I think you will find that its 1899 not 18899 and you need to register with them separately as its another company with different rates.

Wellll, yes, but depending upon the length of the call(s) to mobiles - owing to the connection fee. 3p against 1p, 10p per minute against 12p per minute.

Perhaps a pad and pencil for Christmas?

But such an excellent service.
