Hey there *waves*

I have subscribed to this publication for my son.  I had to call 0871 222 0802 to do so.

When I called, I was on hold for 10 mins before I was even allowed to choose where I wanted my call to be directed, I was on for another 20 mins before I got through to an operator.

I feel this company is a rip off, as I asked (when prompted if there was anything else they could help me with) for another magazine subscription (for a different publication that they cover) I was told to call the number all over again.

I need to call them back as my mags haven't arrived yet, but I've tried twice and had 2 further waits of 10 mins and I refuse to call them again.

Does anyone know of a 'local number' for this company please?  I can't afford to keep calling them.

(I'm in the process of writing them an email to show my annoyance)

I just called that number and the guy took my mobile number, and he's emailing the company to ask them to call me back on my mobile  

I wonder if they're gonna call ?? !!

I have an email giving the address of Horrible Science as DataBase Factory UK Ltd, typing this into bt business search I got (01425) 462800. As I am posting at the weekend I dont know how far you will get with this  number. I too had a query and was kept on the phone for 10 minutes before giving up. Their customer services are appalling as far as I am concerned, maybe a call to Watchdog wouldn't go amiss!!!!, I wonder.
