They send out new mobile phones and if you don't ring this number to obtain a returns collection number within five days you get billed in full.waited over an hour for a reply,did'nt get one.

Assuming that you did not order the telephone from them it would be worth checking with your local Trading Standards Office(r).

I believe that with unsolicited goods you only have an obligation to keep them safe, having advised (in writing, by recorded delivery) the sender to collect them.

A bit of Googling, and it seems quite a few people (particularly on Usenet) are unhappy with this company's sales technique.

This is your best option if they sent the phone to your business, where the Distance Selling Regulations don't apply.

Also, if you did order the phone (or should I say agreed to buy it) and have changed your mind, you need to cancel in writing anyway, not by phone (e-mail counts as writing). Someone mentions that they try to charge £20 for a cancelled order, but they can't do this, under the same Regulations.

Otherwise, if it was unsolicited, just keep it, or put it on eBay if you don't want the phone!

After 14 it peters out and some are out of service. Is there really only one customer service line when 14 are used for sales?
