I have recently registered with Wanadoo broadband services and I am using their technical helpline a lot.
I tried to call using the info supplied from this site rather than the 0870 number which Wanadoo provided me with.  I was put on hold, and after 23 minutes I had had enough.  I hung up and called the 0870 number and I was speaking to an advisor within 1 minute.  
I asked him about the alternative number, he told me that it didn't exist.  I explained that the hold service it placed me on had the Wanadoo music, it welcomed me to Wanadoo.  He was adamant that Wanadoo does not have any numbers other than 0870 numbers.

Was I misled by Wanadoo advisors, or were they telling the truth?
