And again "we don't have access to your information on this number, call 0871......" That was on 01752 243889.
I give up  Angry THEY WIN!!!

Thanks for your help.......

If you don't mind me saying, I think you give up too easily. 01752 243814 is answered as "Acer Warranty Line". Other support numbers are nearby (820/1/2).  Wink

How about 01752 243820? I've just tried it and got straight through to someone within 20 seconds or so.

I got an answer too...but unfortunately they are not a line that will or can help me with my ACER query. The company must have these lines to support lots of other products too. The very pleasant gentlemen redirected me to 0871........ I should have it tattooed onto my forehead before the day is out  Cry

I appreciate all your help but I do now officially give up! Lips Sealed

Cheers
Frank

Frank, thanks for the feedback. We tried and it's important to find out what doesn't work.

Ive tried every number mentioned or in the database and it either gets through and the option for technical support is disabled or its somebody's direct line

Have just bought an Acer Smartphone and they show 0906 706 8000 as the technical help line (at 50p/min)

got an 0117 350 1031 number but that does not work either

On my phone call plan I get free 0845 and 0870 numbers but I cant find any of these that work either

Has anyone contacted Acer Smartphone Tech support?????

Sure someone has?

ive just rang

01752 243889   parts department at the plymouth repair centre, happy to speak with me but couldnt give repair info out as all calls have to go through the rather annoying abroad call centres, a pain in the **** he said he knows the stresses, but he was able to let me know where my spare parts were coming from and how long it would take...

they recieved my laptop 18th march, requested required parts of which come from POLAND, and take 5 to 10 days ( 2weeks ish) to arrive. then have to be fitted/tested then laptop returned a.s.a.p to me...

The number i rang for ACER them selfs took me to INDIA... as i did ask them what country i had come through too......

Good luck to anyone that has to use this rather annoying service!!
