I know of a couple - depend on how many minutes you expect to receive.

I use www.call08.com. No connection fee. £4.95 a month line rental which includes 200 minutes free.No minimum term. All calls after first 200 just 2p a minuteat all times. Are you starting your own business? I run my own business from home and my 0800 no is terminated on my landline.Which means its a cheap way of ringing home from my Orange Contract Mobile!!!

u do realise that it costs you the same to ring a landline as it does calling an 0800 number from a mobile??

No it doesnt include your BT Line Rental Craigyp007.Have a look at the site i gave you  for full details. If you ring a 0800 no from an  Orange Contract Phone the Call is FREE unless your ringing a calling card sevice. Therefore i only pay about 2p a minute to ring home. This would cost me 10p a minute after i have used the up the mobile free minutes. Also if you use 18866 or 1899 you can phone there 0808 numbers for free,so in fact i can ring any UK Landline for a 2p or 3p and speak as long as i like.

I think you will find, that if you use 18866, or 1899 by using the London or freephone access numbers, you will be paying per minute charges to make the call.  The fixed fee calls only apply if you call from a BT line with the 18866, or 1899 prefix.

Sorry you are incorrect. If you phone from a mobile to a 01/02 no,using the 0808 or 01207 access no you are only charged 2p or 3p depending on whether you are using 1899 or18866.

Yes, I put that slightly wrong.

What I meant to say was, if you call using the 0207, or freephone number, on a mobile or non BT line, then you will pay the fixed fee, plus a per minute rate.

If you call from a BT line, then calls to landlines will only attract the fixed fee, but no per minute charges, and also calls to some countries won't attract a per minute charge either.

Also, some destinations have a slightly higher per minute charge from the 0808, and 0207 numbers.  The full details are on the website.
