Dial-a-Phone
May 3rd, 2005 at 5:59pm

Hi all

Having spent ages to get through to Dial-a-Phone' customer services, I gave up.

Anyone have an alternative to 0870 333 6061

Cheers

John

Hi Dave and thanks for the reply.

I have tried the alternative numbers published but get told that I have to use the 0870 number. I explained that hanging on for ages costs a fortune but they say they can't help and I have to ring 0870 333 6061.

Sorry I didn't mention this earlier.

I detest these companies that keep you hanging on listening to all the usual drivel, then explain they're very busy and there could be some delay and then I end up listening to Barry White for 10 mins or so before I give up!

Cheers

John

What's the nature of the enquiry? There is a freephone customer services number. If you are after customer services, does this number go to a different department or has another purpose?

If so, let us know so that the database can be updated.

My enquiry is quite simple. I purchased a phone from Dial-a-Phone prior to Christmas + insurance cover.

The phone was dropped in a puddle, Three said it was not repairable and I should make a claim for replacement.

I've contacted Dial-a-Phone using the numbers published and always been re-directed to the 0870 333 6061 number.

I've now sent them an email but their reply states I should ring them on 0870 333 6061 !!!

Total pain

John

Do Dial-a-Phone provide the insurance directly then, or does their 0870 have a menu which takes you to the company providing the insurance?

I'm afraid I can't get a definative answer on that one.

It's certaily not a choice on their automated answer service so you just wait for the 'next available CS representative' for ever!!

The geo aletnative for Dialaphone has been dead. It can reach Dialaphone, but cannot been connected to Customer Service. Anyone can find the new number for  0870 333 6061 again? Thanks!

The other number we have for DialAPhone Customer services is 0808 1722300 and that works OK.

0207 2418600 option 2 however does direct you to use the DialAPhone website.

It certainly is !  Normally used on ISP dial-ups but I've seen it on a few Customer service lines also.   8)

All the numbers of dialaphone 0808 172 2300 and the 0207 do not lead to Customer Service anymore.  The 0800 000077 number is also a sales number.

Does anybody have a new CS number other than the 0870 number
