Well, in addition to that 0871 number and an 0870 number, BT lists 01304 242632.  Give that a try.

There are some entries in the unverified list. One is  01304 203000. What's wrong, will they not put you throught, is it out of service?

The non-geographical for all entries isn't the 0871 you quote, but 0870 2200570. Do you know what this is for? What is your 0871 for?

The numbers are 01304 209265 and 01304 242173 aswell as the one dauphin mentions. There is also a fax and an admin number.

Speedferries have changed ALL the numbers posted, forcing the the use of 0870 2200570.

Are they that short of money?

I had a real run-in with Speedferries in late May. I tried all the geographic numbers, and all of them refused point-blank to put me through. Their only saving grace, in my experience, is that they are prompt and helpful in answering queries submitted through the Internet.

We have stopped buying forward tickets with Speedferries - they seem to be trying to tie people in, and we too wonder if they are struggling for £££.

Speedferries

Runs cross-channel crossings.  None of the geographic numbers shown now work for booking enquiries, leaving the 0871 number the only option.  Also they have an 087 number for enquiries from outside the UK.  Any ideas ?
