Having made the break from traditional telephone services for voip provider Vonage I started looking and my call cost and thats when I discovered the 0870 scam.

I was slightly amazed that Alliance Leicester Commercial Bank uses 0870 010 2274 to get to there usually very busy call center. I was even more amazed when I read here that even health centers use these numbers.

Ah,I just read it, this is slightly different as this is their Commercial Bank operation who use 0870 (its also interesting that they use an 0845 number for fax communications), their Personal Customer Services use 0845. I guess they know they can stiff business customers a little more than their Personal ones.
