Well Yanto, I simply typed GREEK EMBASSY into my computer and it came up with this contact info.
Not sure why you are paying £1 a minute

I guess from the little info that he bothered to supply that he is trying to find out the geo alternative to the Visa Application Line 09065 508 983 premium rate £1 a minute number.Mentioned on the embassies website on the contact page.

This is of course a legitimate use of a premium rate no,where the caller pays for a service through his bill.Unlike a 0845/0870 no being lumbered on us.

Is it possible to find geographical numbers for all embassies? Cos I found all embassies' visa application lines are at premium rate, which is £1/min, absolute rip off!

I know the American Embassy's visa application line is 09055-444-546.

Here is the info I found.

The US Embassy site makes it crystal clear that you will pay a premium for visa applications, and that they will not, under any circumstances, transfer you to the visa section from the switchboard. I agree with other posts on the site - this is a very legitimate use of a premium rate line. If you were to see the number of people who were there on the day I applied for my visa, you'd clearly understand why they have put a premium charge on the calls

It looked to me as though half the world was trying to get a visa for the USA! On second thoughts, it was probably only all those people fed up with being ripped off by an incompetent BT and Ofcom...... Wink
