In Cambridge I can only receive 10 TV channels.   No ITV, C4 or C5.   www.freeview.co.uk gives an 0870 number for contact but no email.   Any way to phone cheaply, or email them?

I don't have it myself so I'm just telling you what I'd try.

Have you tried retuning it? Is your aerial big enough? Maybe you could try taking it round to a friend's house and try tuning it in using their aerial. Make sure their aerial is pointing at the same transmitter.

Can you tune manually? Get some information of the internet.

Digital TV Group may also be worth a look.

Have you got a Digital Aerial !?

My setup on the old aerial went from just a few (lousy reception) like you, upto . . . . well, LOTS !! And the quality increased massively as well.  Smiley

Only costs £30 or so if you do it yourself, or installation can add over £100 onto that. I suggest that the coaxial cable is also replaced as that may be degrading the signal too.   Grin

A check of a CB1 post code shows that you get your TV from the Sandy Heath transmitter, do you know whether this is correct?

As per my previous post, channel tuning information is here. This suggests DaveM could be right; you may need a different type of aerial.

Can anyone help me with an alternative number to the 08708 809980 given on www.freeview.co.uk.  Or even a contact email address as there is not "contact us" link on the website.  We suddenly started having problems with reception of the CBeebies channel, so I looked at the Freeview website which suggested I rescan for channels, which I did, only for CBeebies to disappear altogether from our channel list.  Naturally, my 2 year old is distraught!!Cry  I have a feeling this might be quite a technical call which could take a while and no doubt I will have to wait in a queueing system for 10 minutes before my call is answered, therefore if anyone can supply a standard landline number it would be very much appreciated.   Smiley

According to their site, their are based inside the BBC studios.
FREEVIEW, DTV Services Ltd, Broadcast Centre, (BC3 D5), 201 Wood Lane, London, W12 7TP

A company well known for their willingness to provide geographic numbers.
Other than a few 0870's , no luck so far.

Perhaps it might be worth posting in the Techie Stuff section of the MoneySavingExpert.com Forums.

Are you using a roof top aerial? Is it possible to tune manually?
