I usually use 1899 for calls to France but yesterday tried calling someone in Paris with a cable line so that they do not have a normal Paris number which starts with 14 but it starts with 87. I tried several times but got the message that this destination was not served by 1899.I have emailed 1899 with the question of whether or not they are able to access cable numbers but as usual they don't read the question properly and therefore don't answer. Does anyone here know the answer.
My daughter in France is about to switch to cable which means changing her number and it would be good to know what the score is.
