The number 01344 706723 in the unconfirmed database for Panasonic Warranty issues is confirmed (I used it this morning to buy a 5-Year warranty for my new TV).

A press this, press that auto-menu answers and three such presses got me through to a real person who dealt with my enquiry.

I have done some work on this one.

This page on Panasonic's website gives different 0844 telephone numbers for different purposes. However, they are all answered with recordings which redirect to 0844 844 3899. I found the page through Googling and have been unable to get to it from other pages on the site, so it could be a dormant one on the server.

The numbers that I found to redirect are 0844 844 3898, 3868, 3852, 3896 and 3856.

The main number, 0844 844 3899, is answered by an IVR (menu) with the following options:

1. Help with product
2. Purchase accessory, check status of order, extend warranty, check on promotional offer
3. Registrations

There are quite a few alternatives, of which I've listed one of them but post the rest here for the record:

• 01344 706709
• 01344 706723
• 01344 476621

I have therefore listed the first of these numbers as the alternative to all the 0844 numbers.

The main number, 01344 862444, has an IVR on it, and selecting option 2 goes through to the IVR set-out above.

Business support is on 0844 844 3890 and its direct alternative is 01344 860133. There were two unverified numbers for this department. Firstly, 01344 853501, which now redirects to the 0844 number and 01344 853506 which apparently puts the caller into a queue for an agent.

The "Online Shopping Helpline" was verified as 01344 476540 with no 08 number so I've removed it.
