Can anyone help. I know if you know the number you probably won't tell me as you know how hard it is to get tickets but if you don't ask you don't get!!

I am trying to get through to Liverpool Football Club ticket office and it is costing me a fortune to call their 0844 844 0844 telephone number, I have tried the various methods offered, e.g. asking for Gaynor at the switchboard. It didn't work, she was "away from her desk" and calling the numbers around the fax number. But to no avail. If you could help me that would be great.

The other numbers that I have tried for them are: 0870 220 2151

Fax number: 0151 260 0981, 0151 261 1695, 0151 261 1416 I have tried some variations near to these but had no success.

The Club give two alternative numbers for credit card ticket purchases. This is what they say on their website:

HOME PREMIER LEAGUE GAMES
CREDIT CARD HOTLINE: 0844 844 0844 (UK) - 00 44 (0) 870 220 2151 (Non UK only)

The "non UK only" remark should not be taken seriously, use the 141 prefix followed by 08702202151 and the call will be free provided you have a BT landline and are calling at a time when calls to geographical numbers are free (at weekends or evenings or at all times - depending on the package you have).

One unverified entry suggests 0151 263 2361 which is labelled as the main switchboard and was posted several years ago in the forum (see above). marcsze, you might like to try this and report how you get on. If it works, then we can list it for others to use.
