0704 numbers rip off as used to on patients (Read 8,073 times)

jwilli1489 Newbie Offline Posts: 2	0704 numbers rip off as used to on patients Aug 15^th, 2005 at 12:00am I found that 1899 charge 15p instead of hospital company 35p [evening] is there better calling rate than that? what type of number is 0704 not mobile anyway!

Posts: 432 West-Norfolk Gender:	Re: 0704 numbers rip off as used to on patients Reply #1 - Aug 15^th, 2005 at 2:55am 070 is what BT describes as a "Personal Number". 07005 is charged at 50p at all times just to name one of them and the operator gets about a third of that in revenue (I know cos I have an 07005 number and get about 17.5p a min back)

1899 is the cheapest supplier of calls to 070 personal numbers.However i understand to dial them you have to use the 0808 access no,as it doesnt work using the normal 1899 accesscode.

I expect one of the mod,s will move this as it posted in wrong place.
