bargains4students.com support line.
Aug 20th, 2005 at 11:27pm

This company sounds a bit suspect, according to their website they can only be contacted by mobile phone voicemail, fax or email.
They do have an 0870 supportline. 0870 750 6060

They don't have an address on there either, and only take payment by paypal.
The number comes up on http://www.global-comm.co.uk/contact.php maybe this is a 'support provider' number.

Can anybody help?

Whose number do you want here Bargains4students.Or Global-Comm

The 0870 750 6060 Global Comm support line appears to be for a range of products sold/distributed by them.Bargains4 students appear to get there products from them.

If its Bargains4students you want to reach have you tried e-mailing them or calling the mobile no.

I wanted to know where they were based, I'll try their mobile, but it seems an expensive option.
I expect they will turnout to be dodgy.

Thanks.

I am the owner of Bargains4students.com.

My brother and I have only recently started this business and we are still getting to learn the processes of running the business on a tight budget.

With regards to your specific concerns:

A landline telephone number and trading address will be made available by the end of September as we are close to completing the process of acquiring business premises.

In the mean time, please rest assured that we are a genuine business that intends on being around for a long time developing our product ranges as well as our customer relationships.

If you have any suggestions on how we could work on improving consumer confidence please let us know. Contact details are available on the website.

Easy.

Dump the 0870 numbers immediately and publish 01 or 02 geographic numbers.

The End.

I agree with Heinz.  If you are working in the best interests of students, hence the name bargains for students, then surely you do not want them to pay rip off prices for their phone calls to you?  I would see that as bad marketing.

In fairness to him he does not have a 0870 number. The number on his site belongs to his suppliers service dept.I suggest he might publish there geo number instead ,until he gets his landline set up.
