Mum needed to call SwiftCover today,

Initially couldn't find an alternative to 0871 230 9999 so we called 0870 484 0100 (as we are with BT), and it was sorted out. However re-checking the SNT0870 Database I called: 01642 623610 just now and re-tried the 0870 number from our landline, the closed message on both is identical.

I can confirm: 01642 623610 is an alternative for 0870 484 0100 and also 0871 230 9999.

No need to apologise; it's much appreciated you posted about this so we can bring the listings up-to-date.

I've tidied up the entries for Swiftcover. They are now titled Swiftcover.com (Swift Cover)
so that they will be picked up with searches of either

swiftcover

or

swift cover

(i.e. with or without the space).

The "Help team" is on 01642 623610/1 and these are alternatives for 0871 230 6666, 0871 230 9999, 0871 271 4012 and 0870 484 0100.

Claims are handled by SIMS Claims Services on published telephone number 0871 984 3333 whose alternative is 01892 500169. This number is given by Swiftcover for calls from outside the UK.

The "No claims discount team" number is 0871 271 4010 whose alternative is 01642 623621 and the Accounts team is 0871 271 4011 or 01642 623621.

All of these alternative numbers are answered in exactly the same way as their respective 08 numbers.

Additionally, there is the Glass claim line, 0871 231 2310, which is operated by Auto Windscreens which can be contacted on 01246 216200 or 0800 919700.

There are a few numbers I removed from the database and I post them here for the record, as they may be useful in the future. All were unverified and descriptions are as they were submitted to us.

All start 01642 623xxx:

678 Switchboard/reception (temporarily out of order)
689 Customer services (rings unanswered)
692 Reception (rings unanswered)

There is also 01483 479200 which is apparently the number for Swiftcover's Woking HQ:
