After getting four calls in as many days from these clowns, I have more information on them:

1) The geographic number from which I was called from was: 01273 771220 (their Hove registered address)
2) Their non-geographic number is: 08702 245 777
2) They confirmed that they are called "Satellite Direct UK Ltd" (today anyway).
3) Their head office is:
Satellite Direct UK Limited,
Imperium House,
Ford Land, Ford, Arundel,
West Sussex BN18 0DF
as confirmed by one of their staff in a previous post.

They are making unsolicited marketing calls claiming that "your sky box warranty has expired". They have breached TPS by calling me, therefore I have complained to TPS and would encourage anyone else to do so.

They also hold personal information about me which they confirmed that they "bought" from another party. They refused to declare who this party was under the Data Protection Act. They hold information about me and they can't tell me where they got it from? Hmmm. I have written to their head office above asking that they send me a copy of all the personal information that they hold about me. I would also encourage people to do the same.

One of their staff claimed that "I must have filled in a survey", which of course I did not. The information that they bought could only have come from one of two sources:
1) Sky themselves
2) The store (Laser) from which I bought the Sky package

I may be contacting the Information Commissioner's office depending on the response I receive.

Hi i'm a newbie....some advice please my elderly mother was cold called by a company selling digibox warranties...she paid over the phone realised she'd given sone wrong info rang the tel no she was given and it was no longerin service at this point she realised she possibly had been conned. So has anyone ever gotten a refund from these cowboys

I am going to cause them alot of trouble but would like to hear from anyone who's had the same problem.....and please no replies from any company employees

the number they gave was 08702 600250 which is out of service... have done some digging around and haven't found this is one of the numbers posted on the net as a number they normally use

A few months back I had quite an argument with Satellite Direct, they swapped out my newish Sky box and installed a very old box. Took a while and numerous calls/letters but they eventually gave me a better Sky box. So why am I telling you this?

Well, tonight I received an automated call from Satcover (I think). Unfortunately I didn't hear much else as I was far too busy shouting at a machine! But it sounded like they were offering me 2 free tickets to Turkey. Anyway I called the number - 0870 240 2559 and when a human answered I just asked for their name and address. The name was something like One 4 Travel and the address?

And searching the net I found that address here, and it belonged to my old friends Satellite Direct.

Sounds like those cowboys are branching out - you have been warned. Anyway, I have complained to One 4 Travel, the Telephone Preference Service and the Information Communications Office as automated calls are contrary to the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003. Not that it'll do much; a nice long jail sentence would have been nice. Oh and a disqualification from running a company ever again.

And if any employees want to join in any kind of dialogue, please do feel free.

I'm afraid EVERY geo number you list for them is not correct - gives either a long tone, or a voice saying number not in use.
Their number is 0845 862 1532.   Any way of finding the geo number please ?
Their address is 168 Church Rd, Hove, Brighton BN3 2DL, but this is from a 2006 letter from them, so not sure it is corrrect.

But, they DID give me their Engineers number which IS geo !!!    01243 200150
I had to phone the 0845 to renew my 'subscription' for insuring my Sky+ digibox

They also use 0871 664 1400 which is in their terms and conditions as is the fax number 01243 556304, which is also now NU.

They also go by the name Satcover Ltd and some forums mention the name "Sat Support" for them aswell.

The Satellite Direct UK website gives 01243 200150 as their contact number.

As you can see above, we have, in the past has both 01243 (Chichester) and 01273 (Brighton) numbers, maybe for different parts of their operation.
