elcondor, what 01904 numbers have you tried, either now or when you originally posted on this thread?
When they changed numbers, was there a down time when you couldn't used the phone?
Any other clues as to what telco it could be?
According to the OP, numbers were 0870 758xxxx in October 2005. This is a Your Communications prefix, as too is 0870 756.
Your Communications is now part of
THUS plc, so it could be a THUS 01904 number: 01904 85xxxx
