Changes have been made to the following:HM Revenue and Customs(Inland Revenue) contact number. It is listed on this site for the Sussex area as 0845 366 7856 with the geographical number as 01604 253919. When this is rung the message is "Number is not recognised." This is because contact for many offices is now via a Southampton contact centre with the 0845 number and many local area numbers are not now useable. Thus far I have been unable to trace the geographical phone number for this contact centre. I suspect many other area offices will present this problem. Can anyone help.
