David Cameron is...
Nov 11th, 2005 at 8:19pm

The right honourable David Cameron is currently on his mobile to the BBC.

On an 0870 number fo course, he is going to be on that number for at least an hour.

Do you think he will notice?

Perhaps he made a transfer charge call?
Or perhaps they immediately offered to call him back?
Or he could have used a landline, rather than the "executive car park".

No worries.  He's a politician.  He's not paying.

We are.

The call is being funded by the Private Finance Initiative.

He given a free call now, and his mobile operator pays the bill for him, but he will have to pay back 50p per minute in total over the course of a year!!

This may seem like a large amount to pay, and well over the odds, but if he were to pay 10p per minute now, it would not look good on the conservative party balance sheet, therefore this form of deferred payment is ideal to help balance the books!!

Well, it has worked with our schools, hospitals, and road building.

Unfortunately I'm too noble, and honest and therefore lack the necessary qualifications of a spinmeister!!

I fear that it is the concept of closing railway lines, imposing planning blight and then not bothering to build roads - almost the worst of all worlds.  Sad

I fear that he will be on 02.  As an oyxgen-thief he will know that they almost-uniquely include NGNs in their inclusive minutes.
