Apart from just ignoring all Emails..
Ive noticed they still havent updated their websites, so what can we do here? Any legal action I could do to stirr them up a little? Not that im looking for much, I just want them ignorant twangers to realise they cant be so damn lazy.
was nice to get my last invoice from them today.. I look forward to taking my business else where.. *goes to look for some cable friendly suppliers*
Are you saying 1899.com definitely also charge 4p connection now? I haven't made a call to check this yet since getting home.
I suggest you email david.stewart@ofcom.org.uk, who is Ofcom's Director of Investigations. He already has Finarea (who own 1899, 18866, 18185 et al) on his list to investigate over their lack of an Alternate Dispute Resolution Process, especially as they also don't take phone calls or respond to emails.
Although I have already complained to him about Finarea it would help if as many as possible of you could join me in this as I am already a well known complainer at Ofcom and the arrival of complaints from other sources is likely to increase the priority they give to dealing within Finarea's total contempt for complaints from its uk customers.
You should in theory also complain to the Ofcom Contact Centre but as they employ some of the most rude, smug, patronising, cynical, abrupt and unhelpful call centre workers in the uk I honestly can't say I would recommend that course of action. Whereas complaining to Mr Stewart, who decides policy on who Ofcom investigates, direct by email is likely to achieve rather more.
