Dec 3^rd, 2005 at 12:57pm a member of my family is moving home and is looking to choose a ADSL company that offers telephone linerental also. Can you folks point me in the right direction of a decent enough company with fair prices and excellent service.. Anyone that suggests onetel will get a kick up the sphinkter

Reply #1 - Dec 3^rd, 2005 at 8:41pm Although there is now a growing number of firms offering 'line rental' (in fact, they're re-selling BT's line rental, which they've bought at a wholesale rate, at a small discount), I would strongly advise people not to be tempted for a saving of 50p or 75p a month.

Especially if your family member is using BT,s free caller display(BT Privacy) because new providers charge approx £1.50p a month for service.(Unless like you they are on Cable at moment).
