I have made a complaint to Trading Standards in Wilts about Virgin Mobile describing 0845 as a local call on thier website. They are taking it up.However they have taken advice from Ofcom about how these numbers should be described. Ofcom have advised them that
084 (up to 5p) should be called Basic Rate. and
087 (up to 10p) should be called Higher Rate.
This was new to me,can anyone confirm if its true.Is it written in stone.
