After ridiculous amounts of calls to the joke set up entitled "TISCALI" about activating my line, I managed to blag a number for BT WHOLESALE who will give you info if you say you work for the ISP in question.

All they need is the Tel No and address of the line and they can tell you if Provide/Cease orders have commenced/completed etc.
