I doubt it will work with a
WAP enabled phone. Many phones nowadays can view web pages, but this is hardly an efficient way of doing it. (The average GPRS charge is about 0.5p/KB. The front page of the site is 15KB without images, so that's 7.5p for a start!) In addition, the site will not work on any older phones that only support true WML as opposed to HTML or XML.
It would be quite straightforward to produce a WAP interface to the database. This would allow a query to be carried out in only a few KB, and would work from any phone. It would be no burden on the server as the pages would actually be much smaller to serve than the standard web pages. But somehow I can't see this being implemented by the site Admin...
