Inland Revenue
Jan 9th, 2006 at 10:43am

Some time ago I found a very useful website on this forum giving the numbers of all the Inland Revenue districts. I have used this number frequently. However today when I dial this geographic number the number  rings several times and then goes on to an unobtainable signal. Doe anyone have any idea of what is going on?

I hope that you are not being charged for that unobtainable signal. Is it old style Number Unobtainable (NU) tone (a single tone) or the more modern three tones and an announcement? Either way it should not attract a charge. Naughty (and wrong) if it does.
