I went on to the website and the tracking number on the card they had left does not work so I have just rang 01708376155 as the alternative to the 0871 number and I got through to the Romfod Depot.  Laura who answered the phone was very unhelpful and told me I had to ring the 0871 number. I am not prepared to do this as I have a mobile and it would indeed cost a fortune.  There must be something we can do about this.  I don't know who the parcel is from so cannot even contact them!  HELP Embarrassed

There is another, unverified entry for the Romford branch, 01708 376153, which is similar and may suggest that it has others in the 37615x range (and maybe beyond). Perhaps you got someone's direct number - maybe someone else at this branch would have helped you or perhaps there wasn't.

Thank you so much for this.  I have just rang them and the guy was so helpful.  All sorted now. Have a lovely day.  Grin

Thanks for the feedback. The 0871 number is a centralised service (I presume), so it's policy not to have customers calling individual branches. Thus, presumably, the main customer services is based at head office. I have therefore emphasised in bold the 0151 290 8500 head office number and added a note to say that it is suitable for enquiries from all areas.

Just tried to ring the head office number (0151 290 8500) and got a message saying they were closed - at 2:15 on a Thursday afternoon?!?!
Can't get a reply on any of the local depot numbers either.
Don't want to, but may have to pay the money for the 0871 number, as they are trying to deliver to the wrong address!

Yes, this number was picked up at 1800 hours not at 1915, the time you need to phone when a delivery promised for 0700-1900 has not materialised. The contact centre is open then, anyone got a non 0871 number to call then?

Hi,
Great site this and has saved me quite a lot of money over the few years I have used it.
Have now registered and have a number to add to this thread for Home Delivery Network Limited.

For INverness office, Serving the Highlands call:

01463 714964 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              01463 714964      end_of_the_skype_highlighting

This is a verified number called this morning and got a very cheerful and helpful Girl who gave me the information I was looking for.

Hope this makes it onto the list.

Thanks again.

James

No it isn't for some reason. I'm in the Highlands so thanks. This number engaged at 1950 hours though

Does the online facility at www.myhdnl.co.uk help?  Huh

Failing that, I would ring tomorrow as I expect there's little that could be done at this time anyway.

Talking of the contact centre being open, the recorded answer says they are open Mon-Fri: 0730-2200 and Sat: 0800-1400, but it is now just gone 1100 and they are closed!

Does anybody know their email address? I have tried info@hdnl.co.uk but got no response.

Excellent site - keep up the good work!

After phoning them today to make  sure my parcel would be delivered (@10p per minute) it didnt arrive and i saw on-line it was back in the depot. Phoned supplier to get him to make contact a there is no way I am paying out their call chages. They said they put a card through my door this afternoon - rubbish - i was in and no card.  This has happened before - do they just like to make money out of us?

I've just tried to contact the Bamber Bridge depot using the verified number (01772 338479) and I got Number Unobtainable tone.  I suspect that the NU tone was due to something that HDNL have done rather than the number no longer existing.  However I got through easily using the number in the Other Information, i.e. 01772 620358.
Like many others on here they claimed to have left a card but hadn't.  When I spoke to them they said they would deliver tomorrow. I said that it wasn't the first time that they had failed to deliver when scheduled and after a few minutes looking at the parcel details they promised to re-deliver today.  I wait with bated breath!!

I was expecting a parcel sometime this week. Had a panic when logging on at noon saw the parcel was on board a van for delivery for today. But had to be out again. Phoned the Wembley depot and spoke to Sue. She was extremely helpful and said she would speak to the driver and find out where he might be. In the meantine, 5 mins, I received the parcel. Sue even rang back. So nice to know someone does as they say they will. Excellent customer service
