Tele2 dial-up will be lost when TalkTalk take over
Feb 24th, 2006 at 5:24am  
One reason I have stayed with Tele2 has been their provision of 1p/min Internet dial-up, which I thought could be useful in an emergency.  Now that TalkTalk are taking over (~end of February I understand) that provision will cease, and TalkTalk do not offer anything similar Angry

Also they will expect you to pay their expensive 0845 peak rate of 4.5p a minute. Roll Eyes

They do kindly allow you to discount one 0845 number. Huh

Why do you not try Tesco.net ( dial up ) as an ISP and use the geographic number ?  Does this assist ?
