If anyone has put in a FOI complaint to the ICO, don't hold your breath for a quick reply. I sent a complaint to them in August and whilst this was acknowledged relatively quickly nothing happened until December when I received a letter saying that I would be contacted when someone had been allocated to my case.
On hearing nothing from them I rang them this week and was told that there was a backlog and that cases such as mine were in the "exemptions" category and as such they were still working on the ones they received in May. At this rate I might get a reply before the end of a year since they received it!
If this was a commercial operation they would be out of business by now with such an appalling response rate.
