A good look around shows that they are the underwriters for mobile phone insurance for many companies, and all sites have 0870 numbers.
However, this came up  on    http://www.cii.co.uk/portal/listing/officers.php?inst=Guildford

Citymain Ins Jason Lee-Emery 01252 819504       01932 626440 citymain@citymain-insurance.co.uk

Due to office location, I would say that the 01252 is office, and 01932 (walton on thames exchange, at top of M3) is probably his home.

Could be worth a go. If they won't give out their office number, then we have to attack them individually.

As mentioned, Citymain operate several 0870 and provide mobile insurance for many mobile companies.

A search of the main database reveals, 01252 788300.
A search of the unverified database reveals, 01983 617400.

Their website is: http://www.citymain-insurance.co.uk/ but at time of writing this appears down!

Please let us know how you get on.

Citymain are only the insurers of your phone. This has been discussed previously. Try their Fleet (in Hampshire) office on 01252620356

Citymain Administrators limited

Please update the local number for 08704441660.

Citymain Administrators Ltd
PO Box 116
Ryde
Isle of Wight
PO33 2WX

I need to cancel my mobile phone insurance direct debit from Citymain Administrators Ltd. I tried 01252 819504, but they say they never insure mobile phones. It's a wrong number.

All other numbers searched didn't work 01252 788300, 01983 617400.

Without calling them successfully I cancelled my direct debit using my online banking 3 months ago. I recently found they took money again. I rang my bank they told me citymain has re-setup my direct debit. But I never received their letter regarding this. My banks says I have to contact citymain to cancel it or get my refund.

It's really frustrating. Their T&C says the insureance will be termintated immediately if the insurer does not receive my monthly premium. Why they still re-setup my direct debit?

Any help would be appreciated.

Patience

It appears that they do underwrite mobile phone policies (they are lying in saying they don't). There are various contact numbers on the posts above.

Citymain Administrators and Citymain Insurance are 2 different companies, if you call Citymain Insurance they will tell you they don't deal with mobile phone insurance, this is true!

01983 618300 will get through to Citymain Administrators, their website address is www.citymain.com

The issue re d/d set up shouldn't happen, if you call them they will ask you to write in, address is on website.

If you want to cancel then call and wait until the end of the message, it gives an option to speak to an operator

True!

Cancel direct debits through your bank. That is the only way unless it is a direct debit with a credit card, then you have to cancel with the credit card company. Standing orders have to be cancelled with the company concerned.

Hope this helps.

Thanks True! Finally you found me a right number.  I will call them tomorrow. I hope can cancel the insurance and d/d on the phone.

Sherbert, the direct debit is with my bank account. I called to cancel it. My bank did for once, but they say unless I cancel it with the insurance company, they may still re-setup. It's ridiculous.

Thanks guys for all your help,  Wink much appreciated.

After called citymain and my bank barclays I finally got my money back.

Barclays supposed to inform the insurance company of the direct debit cancellation once I have done so via online banking. Last time I called them they refused to refund and played blame game. Citymain told me they hasn't been informed at the first time. It's down to the bank to refund for the d/d resetup. So I called barclays again and insisted they should rectify this error.

Next time I will call my bank to cancel d/d besides online banking, double assurance. Of course if I was willing to call those 0870 numbers in the begining, I would had avoided all thses hassles. Damn 0870!

Thanks again people for all your help!

I presume you mean that that the number provided by True is correct for this company?
