They cannot stop you from using the 0808........ access number though. I have to use this from NTL. The downside is higher call costs, but you may still save money under certain conditions.
The other niggle is that I cannot program 22 digits into my phonebook.

At Evenings 1899 etc 0808 numbers are not the cheapest way of accessing 01/02 numbers on cable.
