I suggest you try this. Depending on whether they check you are calling from abroad when calling it, you might want to withhold your number by dialling 141 first.

on their website they give two alternative numbers for customer services: 0870 331 335 and for callers from abroad 44 (0)191 501 3878.

Suggest you ring customer services on their geographic number 0191 501 3878 but prefix it with 141 so that they don't know that you are not calling from abroad.

Note that the premium rate order line number (0870 331 333) only differs from the customer service number (0870 331 335) in its last digit. There is a good chance that if you ring the geographic number they will either take the order or put you through to the sales people.
