I've followed all the advice from Trading Standards and so far it's got me nowhere. A previous poster to this site has been dealing with the West Yorks office, they have had dealings with this company for several months and they don't seem to have done anything to help anybody.

I've been offline for a couple of days while I changed my ISP provider but I'm back on now and emailing Dont get done Get Dom this morning.

To everyone concerned with this topic I would recomend saving these pages on your computer. Another forum I contribute to had a huge thread that had been running for two years with over 1300 posts and 30,000 viewings and the whole lot suddenly vanished as a result of a complaint to the mods.

The staff were employed to do a job to pay the bills, i know you probably think that there behind this but there not. The only people that are liable are the directors!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff who haven't been paid for months should not be assosciated with these crooks. They were only trying to earn a living.

If the staff had not been paid for months, they must be off their heads. I would have jacked it in if my first pay pay packet had not been paid on time. Can't believe they are so naive.

most of the staff there where told it was a minor cash flow problem and it would be sorted asap. most sales staff are considered self employed so wont get a bean from recievers and all reps owed 3k minimum. they were not told of install problems and once they brought deals and paperwork in they never heard about any problems and messing customers about. the culprits where not the reps but the md aka phil hill who was "syphoning cash out left right and centre" now this is purely speculation (disclaimer) but for a company writing 200k a month in orders minimum you would expect a profit. the company was served a closing or wrapping order on tuesday at 230pm and ceased to trade. the md is subject to a police and trading standards enquiry and will prob go down. what goes around comes around.

Ummm, a minor cash flow problem, and staff were not paid for months. I am surprised the staff did not think it was a major cash flow problem. Don't think I am being unsympathetic because I am not, but if you are not paid for what you do even after a month then things must be very iffy. Hope you guys get what you are owed.

i blame the office staff and fitters actually... because the fitters i had threatened to walk off the job... i had two bedroom windows fitted with no glass at the time, if i didnt pay upfront. the girl in the office, i have reason to believe her name began with the letter J, was also very threatening. now when i visited the offices there were also minor as well as major office staff there... who must have been fully aware of the tactics used to get people to pay upfront for nothing... and yes they were there as witnessess to what was said.....so yeh, who else is there?? lets see... i dont blame the youngsters on the phones cos thats what they are youngsters.... the rest are adults and as such should take adult responsibility for where they work and who they work for, i cant imagine the pay was that good, especially as the MD is who he is....

so yes i hope you get what is deserved

the office staff who were paid minimum wage were not aware of anything that the company done and there were mums there working to feed there kids,but how were they to know what this company were like,like yourself at some point that had faith in the company who had advertised there jobs through the job centre, where people go when they need a job. so even though my daughter was one of those youngster making marketing calls i could in no way blame the older people.  how could they possibly know what the company where going to do. the only people here who are to blame is the top people with the money.

I think based on the above comments we are getting of the track a little, I agree there are some staff who were most likely fully aware what was going on, but some will have been kept in the dark and given excuses after excuses, some people are more suspicious than others, some take it as read as I am sure most will agree.

For those who knowingly assisted Nationwide deceive customers out of thousands there is no excuse.

Robin Harrison has a new company setup and trading, I will be posting the details of the business over the weekend on www.scamsexposed.co.uk anyone that has not visited the site should and I would encourage you to register as well for updates as the information on the so far is vast in relation to details of Mr Hill for example, click on the more info link and wait for the page to load you will see what I mean.

Umm, sorry, even someone not understanding the English language must have realised that something was up when they were not getting paid.

yeah the staff should have twigged all was not wellhowever the md are experienced salesmen. they had the patter to smooth things over. the same patter they trained there reps in that convinced most of u to hand over large amounts of cash to somebody you met an hour ago.

There is much discussion about whether the employees are to blame. eniarrol (Lorraine) makes a good point. I don't know how this 'company' promoted itself, I know it dialled me using an automatic dialler, ignoring the fact that I was registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Did they send out leaflets, knock on doors, or was it just phone calls?

What research was done to verify the authenticity of this company? Were prices competitive with other companies or were purchases made following a telephone call from the company without looking elsewhere?

We tell our children not to accept sweets from strangers because there are those out there who wish to do harm to them. The principle is the same. This is why research must be done and one shouldn't necessarily do business with the first company which comes along.
