I have repeated so many times on this thread that no company that is reputable, will ever ask for a deposit. If anyone asks for a deposit the alarm bells should be ringing. As I have mentioned before I have had windows, barge boards, kitchens, bathrooms and boilers fitted by various people over the years and have never once paid a penny deposit. I pay on the day of completion.

It looks if you are lucky to only have lost £265.

Get in touch with your local trading standards officer, (or the equivelent in Scotland)

Dont think this company isd the same as the Huddersfield on mentioned on this thread, think its just another Nationwide like the so many more out there.

Robin Harrison returned his company car when he left the company in july 2007 this has been confirmed by leaseway ( although Phil Hill did not put the paperwork in until september as this would have forced the company to cease trading) but a lot of the staff are still using thier old company cars, there was a ford focus that was in the king cross tescos car park for 3 months waiting for the lease company to collect it until recently. There was ( and can be ) only 1 MD which was Phil Hill Robin Harrison ran the sales and marketing not the accounts/ money and the offical bodies have not contacted him at all other than to confirm that this was the case as Phil Hill was the company controller and major shareholder. Any assets of the company now belong to the reciever but the cars were leased / rented and therefore not the companies property so they still belong to leseway who was the company that wound MTI up in the first place

Hi i worked for nationwide home improvements for 6 weeks (tryed leaving twice but was promised the earth) after 6 weeks of them sending me all over the north west selling and putting over 300 quid of my money in petrol in my car all the cheques bounced can anyone give me the liquidators contact details

This thread relates to nationwide who had a branch in Huddersfield West Yorkshire with the directors called Phil Hill & Robin Harrison.

I would suggest that a new thread be started for the fife nationwide which as pointed out is not connected to this Nationwide.
