If you have received a communication from Onstream ( working on behalf of British Gas )
asking to ring the above number , re exchanging ( upgrading) your Gas Meter
An alternative in the West Midlands is
0121 424 8000 and ask for the individual who signed the letter, from

What a nerve, asking a customer to phone to arrange their business for them!

If they are authorised to do work on behalf of British Gas (or whoever), they can write, knock on the door or supply a freephone number.

They should, of course, be required to produce their identity cards and proof that they have authority to undertake the work.
