What sort of problems are you having?

The manual for the Synergy 3105 is here.

Are there any clues as to who manufactured it; perhaps a label on the device (base station)? It's probably not made by BT and the 0870 number may well go through to the manufacturer.

I believe Siemens manufacture DECT phones on BT's behalf. Does your model resemble any of these Siemens models?

Thanks Dave for your quick response.

On the box it says: Item code 011711 Made in China. There is a prize draw + registration form inside which mentions the product of: CLARITAS (UK) LTD, PARK HOSE, STATION RD, TEDDINGTON, MIDDX TW11 9AD. I also tried to locate Claritas on the list but was not able to locate them.[color=#0000cc

My son bought this for me and now lives away from home. There was a manual and a receipt with it but unfortunately due to my converitng my garage to Disabled facilities evrything from my garage is allover the place and I can not locate them. Your link will however help.

The problem is that the top volume (5 on  the handset) is now very low and we can hardly hear the ring. I've changed the batteries (I have been in the battery business for over 20 years) but still no luck. I know that its a hardware fault.

PS: BT and others  are still selling this on the web.

Claritas (UK) (now owned by Acxiom) appear to be into information and data, which is probably why they want you to enter a 'prize draw'. I guess they will be asking you questions so that they know what you like and therefore what things might interest you.

Perhaps you could try a different ringtone. But if it's just happened without changing ringtone, it's strange.

Where is the ringer situated and could it be that the holes for the sound to come out are blocked?

Dave,

Thanks for your reply.

I changed three different strengths of batteries, all different ringtones, volume levels. going back to default factory levels but still had no joy before coming on this site. I have also tried to check, without actually trying to open the handset, and the ringer holes do not appear to be blocked.
If I can't find the alternate number than I'll be forced to ring on 0870 number.
I had also tried BT and this is the answer I received:

I have searched and I cannot find any clues as to who BT has had to make these models. The user guides for its products are online, and, particularly the Diverse range, have mention of Siemens and a part number on the back page. Google finds this nicely, see here.

Maybe you could have a look on the internet, see if anyone has encountered the same problem. Post a request on the MoneySavingExpert.com Forums, someone in there might know or be able to help you.

A number has just been entered into the database. I haven't tried it. It is 0207 403 0201 and is the SunCorp Technologies London office. Is it SunCorp that manufactures these phones?

SunCorp Technologies products are on its website here and BT is down as one of  clients. Do any of these products look like the BT Synergy?
